STEVEN ARMENDI
Steven Armendi was born in Englewood, New Jersey. Inspired by his brother Bernie Armendi at a young age, he started learning choreography in cotillions and parties. He has grown to embrace the art of dance since the age of 14.

His credits include back up dancing for Filipino artists such as Regina Velasquez and Pops Fernandez. He has trained with Future Shock New York under the guidance of Jennifer Yee and Jansen Mao as well as Ellie Burke and Dennis Caindec of CSLA. Some of his biggest influences, however, are thanks to his close friends Richard Garing, Myron Merced, and Jeff Laconico.

Steven is currently co-directing his company -- "Project D" -- based out Bergenfield, New Jersey. His main inspiration comes from those who are unique and who tend to think outside of the normal box. He currently teaches at Step By Step Dance Sport and is determined to those who want to learn something fresh and something new.

Since then he's come to enjoy performing, but more importantly he has found major appreciation for the art of choreography.

Credits can go back to multiple college hip hop dance competitions with several different dance troupes. His biggest competition occurred when he got the chance to perform for the first ever Prelude East Coast Dance Competition in NJ. Other credits include back up dancing for Filipino artists such as Regina Velasquez and Pops Fernandez. Training credits go to his mentors from Culture Shock New York as a Future Shock NY Member while under the teaching of Culture Shock NY's Jennifer Yee and Jansen Mao as well as Ellie Burke and Dennis Caindec of Culture Shock Los Angeles.

Jeff is now a co-director for the Project D Dance Company -- created in Bergenfield, New Jersey by Bernie Armendi. He is inspired by dancers who use the art of musicality in their choreography as well as anything that is unique and innovative. He loves his company and has grown to call Project D his family. He currently teaches Project D Dance Company Classes at Step By Step Dance Sport and invites anyone who has the desire to grow as a dancer. He lives everyday by his main motto of "E.L.E." --- EVERYBODY LOVES EVERYBODY!

DAVIAN RIMA
Davian was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. Ever since the early 90s, Dav has been learning isolation moves while listening to songs such as "Beat It" and "Thriller" on his first cassette tapeplayer as a kid.

Starting out as a ballroom dancer while in high school, he has grown a sincere interest in learning the different styles of hip hop dancing. Dav mainly drew his experiences from Rhythmology and F.L.A.S.H. Dance Troupe. Although, his inspiration for hip hop dancing primarily derives from Michael Jackson. Beginning as a "popper", he branched out and studies other dance styles such as lockin', tutting, and krumping. Many of Dav's friends would say his preferred style of dancing would be any kind of isolation work, and he admits they would be right.
